La laguna Churup está situada a pocos kilómetros de Huaraz a una altura de 4450 metros sobre al nivel del mar. Esta hermosa laguna glaciar de aguas turquesa y frías temperaturas es ideal para realizar la aclimatación previa a la altura y una de las más  visitadas y comprende una popular ruta de caminata o trekking en la cordillera blanca, siendo factible realizar la visita en un solo día o dos días con campamento.

Programa

Para llegar a la laguna de Churup se traslada con vehículo de Huaraz, pasando por los pintorescos pueblos de Unchus, Llupa hasta llegar a Pitec. Desde este punto continuar la caminata empinada hasta la laguna, caminar de 2 a 3 horas aproximadamente a un paso tranquilo depende del ritmo y poder descansar cuando se necesite.

  • Transporte desde Huaraz a los diferentes puntos de inicio y final de la actividad.
